    Guo Yizong

    Guo Yizong, born in 1940 in Weifang, Shandong Province, is a professor in the Chinese painting department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He serves as the Deputy Director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee of the China Artists Association, a senior art title evaluator for the Ministry of Culture, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the Vice Director of the Calligraphy and Painting Studio of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Guo graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at the Beijing Academy of Arts in 1962. He has published monographs such as "Guo Weiqu's Flower-and-Bird Painting Techniques," "Freehand Sketches of Flowers in Outline Drawing," and "Techniques of Chinese Painting Flowers."
