Founded in late 2012, the China Association for the Promotion of Painting and Calligraphy Culture Development (CAPPCCD) is a national calligraphy and painting cultural organization approved by the State Council at its executive meeting and officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The Association was formally established in Beijing on June 24, 2013. In 2013, the first president was Mr. Wang Yong, a famous calligrapher and painter, and in 2021, the second President was Mr. Chai baoting, a cultural scholar.
Design Guidelines: Utilize internationally popular visual imagery to creatively design the logo (LOGO) and IP of the China Association for the Promotion of Painting and Calligraphy Culture Development. The design should fully express the six characteristics of the Association as a social organization: national reach, industry representation, standardization, authority, foresight, and mass participation. The basic pattern of the LOGO is a seal of calligraphy and painting. The seal is the most frequently used and representative image in Chinese calligraphy and painting cultural activities. It symbolizes the organizational, credibility, certification, evaluation, appreciation, and financial systems, reflecting the core values of socialism.
