    Zeng Xianguo

    Zeng Xianguo was born in 1956 in Qingzhou, Shandong Province. He is currently the Dean of the Qingdao Painting Academy, a first-class artist, a member of the China Artists Association, and the Vice Chairman of the Shandong Provincial Artists Association. He is a distinguished expert enjoying a special lifelong allowance from the State Council. In 1997, he was awarded the title of "Top 100 Artists in the Chinese Painting Circle" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Artists Association. He has participated in the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th National Art Exhibitions and has won awards for excellence. In 2004, he was awarded the "Huang Binhong Academic Award" by the Chinese Academy of Arts. Many of his works are housed in the China Art Museum, the Chinese National Academy of Painting, the Great Hall of the People, Zhongnanhai, and Tiananmen Gate Tower. His works were on board the successful return of the Shenzhou VI spacecraft, and he was invited to participate in a large-scale Chinese painting creation at Zhongnanhai by the State Council. His work "Lao Mountain's Nine Waters Scenery" hangs in the Huairen Hall meeting room at Zhongnanhai. He has published over ten monographs, including "The Works of Zeng Xianguo" and "Zeng Xianguo's Fine Collection of Landscape Paintings."

The combination of his northern temperament and the nourishment of southern landscapes has shaped his art into a style that is simple, powerful, and spiritually dynamic.

    Dong Xiyuan, born in Zhaoan, Fujian Province, in 1964, is a member of the CPPCC National Committee, a director of the Chinese Artists Association, a representative of the 10th National Cultural Congress, a vice-chairman of the Fujian Artists Association, a vice-chairman of the Fujian New Social Class Association, a member of the Arts Committee of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture, a special professor of the Academy of Painting of Renmin University of China, and a special professor of Rongbaozhai Academy of Painting.
