- 简介：Yang Shanshen, a male of Han ethnicity, was born in 1913 in Chixi, Taishan, Guangdong Province. He began to copy ancient paintings at the age of 12 and moved to Hong Kong at the age of 17. He started to engage in Chinese painting creation at the age of 20 and held his first solo exhibition in Guangzhou at the age of 21. At the age of 22, he studied at the Tokyo University of Arts in Japan and returned to China at the age of 25. In 1940, he went to Nanyang to hold a solo exhibition and collaborated with Xu Beihong to paint several works in Singapore. In the same year, his works were selected for the "Chinese Art Exhibition" held in the Soviet Union, and he became a member of the China Cultural Promotion Association.

杨善深，男，汉族，广东台山人，1913年出生广东赤溪。12岁开始临摹古画，17岁移居香港，二十岁始从事国画创作，二十一岁在广州首次举办个人画展，二十二岁留学日本东京都堂本美术学校，二十五岁回国，1940年赴南洋举办个人画展，在新加坡邂逅徐悲鸿合作绘画多帧。同年作品入选在苏联举办的“中国美术展览会”，并任中国文化协进会会员。
